Bigfoot and the Mountie
Sergeant Robertson Bucksportley Shields had always been known as a dedicated and hardworking member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He had spent years working in various divisions and had finally found his place with the mounted horseback squad in the beautiful town of Whistler, British Columbia. It was February 2007, and the town was buzzing with excitement for the upcoming hockey playoffs on Groundhog Day weekend. Sergeant Shields and his trusty horse, Thunderbolt, were on their usual mountain patrol when they stumbled upon a creature they had never seen before. It was a huge, hairy creature, standing at least 10 feet tall. Thunderbolt became agitated and started whinnying, but Sergeant Shields remained calm despite putting his hand on his sidearm. He cautiously approached the creature, and to his surprise, it didn't attack him. Instead, it looked at him with big, curious eyes. Sergeant Shields realized that he was face to face with the legendary bigfoot. He had heard stories about this creature, but he had never believed them to be true. Yet, here he was, witnessing it with his own two eyes. At first, Sergeant Shields was unsure of what to do. He had been trained to handle all kinds of situations, but this was something he had never encountered before. He decided to reach out to the creature in a friendly manner, and to his amazement, it responded by extending its hand. From that moment on, a friendship unlike any other was formed. Sergeant Shields and bigfoot spent hours talking and getting to know each other. They discovered that they had a lot in common, and they quickly became inseparable. The people of Whistler were shocked when they saw Sergeant Shields riding around town with bigfoot by his side. At first, they were scared, but soon they realized that bigfoot was just a gentle giant who meant no harm. As the hockey playoffs drew closer, Sergeant Shields and bigfoot found themselves caught up in the excitement. They decided to attend the game together, and it was a sight to behold. Thunderbolt even got his own hockey jersey to show his support for the team. The town of Whistler couldn't believe their eyes when they saw bigfoot cheering on the team alongside Sergeant Shields. The two had become local celebrities, and their friendship had brought the entire town together. On Groundhog Day weekend, as the town erupted in joy after their team won the playoffs, Sergeant Shields and bigfoot stood proudly together, celebrating the victory. They had become the best of friends, and their bond had brought so much joy and happiness to the town. From that day on, bigfoot was no longer seen as a scary creature, but as a friendly and lovable companion. And Sergeant Shields, who had always been a respected member of the GRC, became even more beloved by the people of Whistler. Their unlikely friendship had shown that even the most unlikely of friends can come together and create something truly special. And as they rode off into the sunset, Sergeant Shields and bigfoot knew that their friendship would last a lifetime. A story inspired by watching Son of bigfoot and bigfoot family 2 years ago as well as imagining bigfoot as a football player. For Otto Grimsley

Weird Winter (A Halloween Narrative)
The Trooper Hendersonburg Story Greater Richmond, VA On the evening of December 15, 2010, at precisely 10:30 p.m., Trooper Remington Felixstowe Hendersonburg, known by his call sign 1351, began his 10-hour shift with the Virginia State Police in Richmond. Clad in his signature uniform, he embarked on his patrol, driving through the snow-covered roads near the greater Richmond area. As the clock ticked past midnight, the cold winter wind howled outside his patrol car, and the snowfall intensified. Remington maneuvered his vehicle from state route 288 onto Interstate 95 Northbound, maintaining a vigilant eye on the road ahead. The radio crackled with intermittent chatter, the dispatcher's voice punctuated by bursts of static and echoes of other troopers on duty. Suddenly, a series of strange alphanumeric codes blared over the radio, signaling an urgent message from dispatch. Remington's heart raced as he deciphered the message: "Code 10-41, 10-56B, and 10-79. Proceed with caution." He tightened his grip on the steering wheel, adrenaline coursing through his veins. Unbeknownst to Remington, he was about to embark on a night unlike any other in his law enforcement career. As he continued driving through the snowy night, the supernatural began to intertwine with reality. Strange creatures, both ancient and contemporary, emerged from the shadows, their eerie forms illuminated by his patrol car's headlights in addition to his code 3 blue Whelen brand strobe lightbars with alleyway and takedown beams. First, the legendary Mothman, with its large wings and glowing red eyes, swooped down from the sky, causing Remington's heart to skip a beat. He radioed in, "1351 Richmond, I'm eastbound on route 895 parkway from the airport. There's something hovering about looks like a giant bald eagle or dragonfly". Next, a spectral figure resembling the Headless Horseman appeared on horseback, wielding a menacing sword. Remington's pulse quickened, but his training kicked in. He calmly reported, "1351, 10-56B Eastbound 895. Anyone in the area 10-8?" The radio crackled with acknowledgment from dispatch as Remington pressed on, encountering an array of mythological beings. From the cunning Chupacabra to the elusive Bigfoot, each encounter tested Remington's nerve and resourcefulness. Through a combination of quick thinking, skillful maneuvers, and occasional assistance from fellow troopers, Remington managed to navigate and handle under pressure the peculiar encounters with these supernatural beings. He exercised and wrestled with werewolves for a fun sport at a rest area, apprehended mischievous leprechauns speeding on I-95 near Henrico County and even engaged in a thrilling chase with the Jersey Devil which ended in a manhunt on the outskirts of Rockwood. As dawn approached and Remington's shift neared its end, he radioed in for the final time, "1351 Richmond, 10-95 and 10-4 also." The dispatcher acknowledged his message, praising his bravery and dedication. "10-4 1351 on that 10-7 at 0829. It is 12-16-2010. Outstanding Work Remy". Exhausted but triumphant, Remington returned to his house around 8 a.m. He parked his patrol car, reflecting on the night's events. He knew that few would believe the extraordinary encounters he had experienced, but he also knew that he had fulfilled his duty as a State Trooper under unexpected circumstances. With a weary smile, Remington bid farewell to his fellow troopers over the radio, ready to retire for the day and rest his weary body. As he closed his eyes, he couldn't help but wonder what other supernatural adventures awaited him in the future, knowing that he would always be ready to embrace adventures of supernatural encounters.
Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Billy Joseph Thompson, a fire-werewolf, had sustained a minor injury from a foot chase involving hazardous duty back in January 2002 and due to doctors orders and the recommendation of his Post commander he was assigned to light duties such as Front desk work and radio operations at his post and also had to take days off at home. This story will be the first of a 10 parter which will include his days on and off from work including SPA Treatment, personal leaves of absence, foot work and rehabilitation therapy. Stay tuned.
